Why join our dive trips?
 

Yes, it is possible to go on dive holidays by yourself. We do so ourselves. But there are lots of benefits to going on organized trips - especially ours. Here are some of those benefits, in no particular order:

  • Great destinations & dives: Let's face it - there are good dives and there are great dives. We organize trips only to destinations that are truly special. Also, while there, we cherrypick the dive sites that we will visit, so you get only the best dive sites.
  • Handpicked dive operators: We only choose dive operators with whom we know well and have dived with ourselves. So you are assured of diving with operators who provide top quality guides and service.
  • Small groups: We like to see fish, not other divers. In keeping with our own policy, we ensure that we dive in small groups. In most cases, we will dive in our own group, with our own guide (although this may vary by location & dive site).
  • Safety: We recognize that different people have different experience levels & dive skills. This is taken into account in the trip. All dive trips start with a shallow checkout dive, which can also double as a refresher dive.
  • Value for money: Our trips maximize value for money. We pick resorts that are offer a high standard of comfort and amenities at a reasonable price. No super-expensive resorts, no bottom-of-the-barrel dumps. Where possible, we try to pick resorts with a record of eco-friendly operations.
  • Inexpensive gear rentals: Trip participants get discounts on gear rentals, so if you don't have your own kit - no worries. If you would like to buy your own equipment, please contact us - we can arrange top notch kit for you at international prices.
  • Discounted camera rentals & free instruction: We offer digital cameras with housing for rent at significant discounts during the trip. In addition, you also get free instruction on how to use the camera to obtain high quality results. So come back with top-quality shots to share with your friends
  • Discounts on Advanced course or free Specialties: Every participant in the trip can do a discounted SSI Advanced Adventurer or PADI Advanced Open Water course. Alternatively, you can choose a free SSI Specialty of their choice.
  • Custom DVD: We will have a videographer for the duration of the trip, so you have the option of getting a custom-made DVD of your diving holiday as a memento of good times. In addition, each participant gets a free CD slideshow of some of the best images of the trip.
  • Dive with friends: Diving is best when the memories can be shared with friends. One of the biggest benefits of diving in a group is the ability to share the moments of the dive in the evening - let the good times roll, indeed.
  • Needs of non-diving spouses taken into account: We will also take care of organizing a list of activities to keep non-diving spouses occupied. Of course, there is always the option of having your non-diving spouse do an Open Water course and join the mix as well!
