As we complete our 7th season, we are thrilled to bits to announce that starting in September 2011, we finally plan to open the doors of our second dive center, based in Neil Island (oh yes, we are very aware that this is only a year later than planned. Don't get us started!).

Based out The Dancing Dugong Beach Resort, our Neil Island dive centre will offer a full array of scuba certification courses, ranging from Open Water Diver all the way to Instructor, as well as daily fun diving activities.

Why Neil? Well, as Havelock continues to grow, we feel that the best way to maintain the pristine nature of the reefs is to spread out the diving over a larger area - that way, we can continue offering the type of diving that has been our hallmark since the day we started diving in the Andamans (when 4 divers was a busy day): small groups, pristine reefs, expert dive guides and best of all - no crowds on the reef.

Neil Island is also close to Port Blair and connected by daily ferries. In addition, having already dived some of the waters around it, we are very excited about the potential of the waters around this region, and we feel it will offer the same world-quality dive sites that make the diving in Havelock so amazing.
